When we moved to Nevada, Tim started to go to the lap pool and do some laps. I went once and hated it. This year we moved into a complex that has a lap pool. I started swimming. I can't believe how hard it is to do one lap. I thought my lungs were going to burst, but I kept on going. Thanks to all the stroke clinics I watched in Rockford, my freestyle and back stroke look pretty good. My breast stroke needs a little help, Where is Mark Dowdakin when you need him.... Oh, and forget the butterfly. This body just doesn't bend like that anymore.
It has been around 5 weeks and I have been swimming around three times a week. I no longer get tired and now get a high when I'm the first one in the pool. The water is smooth as glass and as I slide into the pool and start the breast
