This morning it finally decided to rain. Nothing like the big gushers back home but a steady pouring rain. This is the most we have seen since we moved here and we could use a nice downpour. I was going to go out and do some of my shopping but I'll wait until it clears up. Vegas hasn't had any rain for months and the streets will be slippery from the oil from the cars. Rain on pavement here is the same as freezing rain on Wisconsin roads. They both produce a lot of accidents and it is better to avoid it and just stay home, if possible. I would rather have this dark gloomy rainy day than get what is expected to arrive in Wisconsin on Saturday - sleet, freezing rain and 6 inches of snow....Yuk!
