Laura's Visit

Last weekend my cousin, Laura, came to Vegas for a visit. Our mom's are sisters and we are both the oldest daughters with younger brothers. To set the record straight, my cousin is only 16 months older than me. She talks as thought she is MUCH older.

She loves Vegas and has been coming here for years with her husband, Pete. I have asked her to come to Vegas for a "girls" weekend the last three years. This year when I extended the invitation she thought about it for one minute, checked the airfares and announced she was coming on the next plane....... Ha! In reality it was two weeks later. SHe came in on Saturday evening and left the following Wednesday morning. We packed a lot of activities into those four days. Walking the strip, checking out neighbor casinos, window shopping and even rode the famous roller coaster in Primm Nevada. Well actually I watched and took pictures while Laura rode the coaster. We even found time to hang out at the pool It was great to spend the time with Laura. We had a good time and had fun reminiscing about memories of living next to each other while growing up. Hopefully we'll find the time to do this again.
