Nothing but Bundt Cakes

We tried, Nothing But Bundt Cakes this past weekend. This is store that sells only bundt cakes of various sizes. The most popular being their little bundtlet which sells for 3.99.

Just as the store is unique so are the flavors of bundt cakes. Besides banana, lemon, carrot and marble there are the more daring ones like pistachio nut, kahlua, chocolate chocolate chip and white-chocolate raspberry. Special flavors of the month include red velvet for February, pumpkin spice for the holidays and pineapple upside down cake in spring.

Since Tim and I were disappointed in the Cupcake shop across the street we were a little skeptical of this concept. When we walked into the store we were met by the strong smell of bundt cakes cooking in the ovens in the back. Samples were on the counter to try. They were moist and delicious. So we decided that we would each pick one out to take home. Tim choose the chocolate chocolate chip and I decided to go with the carrot. When we got home I cut each in half so we got a taste of both. Delicious! Best cake I have tasted from a bakery.

The store was started in Las Vegas 10 years ago by two best friends, who started selling the cakes out of their home. The business grew so fast that they immediately got a store in Vegas and then a short time later opened another store here. The two stores in Vegas sell over two million dollars in bundt cakes each year. The women are now franchising stores all over the country.

If you have a chance in your travels check out Nothing but Bundt Cakes. You won't be disappointed. Tim and I look forward to going back and trying some of their other flavors.
