I miss the beauty of Wisconsin winters. While we were home we were lucky to have experienced a snow storm that left around 7 inches of snow. Milwaukee has been hit with a lot of snow so far this winter so I'm sure the people who have had to experience all the snow shoveling and driving in the snow and ice don't share my excitement of seeing this beautiful day. For the most part I use to love the winter. Since I didn't have yard work to do I had extra time to sew and quilt. I would love to lock my self in my room surrounded by all my fabric, books and my sewing machine. Some days I would sit in a chair with a quilt to keep me warm and read a good book.
