Ever since moving to the desert, I have had a fascination with Geckos. Geckos are small lizards. I saw my first one while climbing the mountains in Henderson. I have no idea how I was able to take a picture of him since they usually move very fast. Looks like his tail is broke. Too bad I didn't have my camera when I saw the 6 foot snake a couple of days later in the same spot!
I have started collecting geckos. I now have a pin, a gecko bottle opener for my key chain, a small wall gecko and my latest find in a ceramic gecko that I found at a craft sale at the 55+ community here in Henderson. It looks nice on the tile by the fireplace.
